SWIMMING

Medway free swimming card

If you’re under 16 or over 60, we’ve got swimmingly good news for you, you can swim for free at Medway Park, Strood Sports Centre, Hoo Sports Centre and The Strand.

How to get involved

Please visit reception at one of the below sites and apply for a free swimming card:

• Medway Park
• Strood Sports Centre
• Hoo Sports Centre.

 

 

The Strand Outdoor Lido

• session 1: 10.30am to 1.30pm
• session 2: 2.30pm to 5.30pm.

You must prebook a session online before you arrive.

Prices start from Prices

• adults: £6.80
• juniors: £4.50
• seniors: £4.50
• under 3s: free (do not require a ticket or pre-booking).

Disabled guests are entitled to one free carer ticket. To access this the carer does not require a ticket or pre-booking but must provide PIP evidence on entry or charges will be made on the day (we do not accept other evidence such as blue parking badges).

Medway Sport memberships that include swimming are accepted for swimming at The Strand, as well as the Medway free swim card scheme.

Club Ausome is a charity that supports children and young people aged between 0-18 with disabilities or additional needs and their families. They provide a welcoming, non-judgemental, inclusive environment for families to come together and be themselves. They offer weekly youth clubs, fortnightly activity sessions, breakfast meet ups and coffee mornings.

Thursdays at Strood Waterfront Ball Cage, Canal Road, Strood

From Thursday 29 June 2023, basketball with Kent Crusaders Basketball Club will run from:

• 5pm to 6pm (8 to 12 year olds)
• 6pm to 7pm (13 to 16 year olds).

No need to book, free to attend.

 

Touch Rugby

Wednesdays, 7pm to 8.30pm at Priestfields, Rochester

From 26 July 2023, come along and play touch rugby with Medway Rugby Club.

Suitable from 12 years to adult. 

No need to book, £1 per person.

 

Morrisons - One free kids meal with each Adult meal over £4.49

Asda - Kids eat for £1 all day every day with no Adult spend required

Dobbie’s Garden Centre - From 12pm every Adult meal purchased receives one free child’s meal

Bella Italia - Kids eat for £1 between 4pm – 6pm Monday – Thursday with every Adult meal
